Frequently Asked Questions

  • Both in-person and telehealth visits are about 45 minutes.

  • We accept most major commercial insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid. Click here to see a list of insurances we are contracted with. If you have any additional coverage related questions, please call our office and one of our team members would be happy to assist you.

  • Our office will send an invoice to the email provided on the day of your appointment. Payment can be made using your most major credit/debit cards.

  • We are a cashless practice. We do not accept cash for services.

    You will receive an invoice at the times of your appointment that can be paid with credit or debit.

    Card information is not stored.

  • You and your dietitian will decide when and how often to follow-up after your initial consult. Follow-ups are based on individual need, lifestyle, and dietary goals.

  • Yes! You can switch between in-person and telehealth appointments.

    Some patients prefer to schedule an in-person appointment for their consultation and complete follow-ups via telehealth while others complete all their appointments via telehealth.

    We want you to be able to choose how you do your health care.

  • Your Registered Dietitian is qualified to read and review your most recent lab work/blood work with you.

    If you have had blood work done within the last 6 months we suggest you bring a copy to your appointment or email it prior to your appointment at admin@lasvegasdietitians.com

  • Telehealth appointments are the same as in-person but are conveniently done over the phone.

    Patients who choose to do telehealth do not miss any information that would be provided in-person. Any handouts/resources can be emailed to you a† the time of your appointment.

    if you schedule a telehealth appointment, you will receive a confirmation text message with the details of your appointment.

    At the time of your appointment, your dietitian will reach out to you.

  • Yes! If for some reason you are unable to come in at your scheduled appointment time for reasons beyond your control - we’d be more than happy to switch you to a telehealth appointment.
